The Boys boss knows a Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki reunion would ‘break the internet’: ‘It’s occurred to me’

Remember when Dean Winchester once said, “I’m Batman”? Well, it seems Jensen Ackles took that literally and hightailed it over to the DC universe! But could his former “Supernatural” co-star, Jared Padalecki, be joining him in the superhero (or should we say, supe?) game? Rumors are swirling that a reunion of epic proportions might be in the works for “The Boys” final season, and we are so here for it!

Eric Kripke: Master of Manifestation (and “Supernatural” Reunions)

Leave it to Eric Kripke, the mastermind behind both “Supernatural” and “The Boys,” to tease fans with the possibility of a reunion that would undoubtedly break the internet.

Kripke, who’s already brought us the gift of Jeffrey Dean Morgan on “The Boys,” has confirmed that he’s in talks with Padalecki for a role in the show’s fifth and final season.

And while the details are still under wraps (this is Kripke we’re talking about, after all), he’s made no secret of his desire to bring the Winchester brothers back together on screen.

“Putting those two in a scene together would destroy much of the world, and that’s appealing,” Kripke teased.

We feel you, Eric. We feel you.

Jared’s On Board (and Jensen Might Not Be Far Behind)

Padalecki, who recently wrapped his run on the CW’s “Walker,” has expressed his enthusiasm for the potential reunion.

“I only want to work on projects that I really care about or with people that I really care about,” Padalecki said. “And obviously, Eric and I are indelibly connected forever.”

Aw, shucks! Our hearts are melting faster than an angel in holy water.

And what about Ackles, who’s currently busy playing a (slightly unhinged) Captain America-esque supe named Soldier Boy on “The Boys”? While he hasn’t directly addressed the Padalecki reunion rumors, Kripke has hinted that we haven’t seen the last of Soldier Boy.
“I can’t imagine the series ending without Soldier Boy making another appearance,” Kripke teased.

Could this be the perfect opportunity to bring the Winchester brothers back together in all their supe-hunting glory?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Aka John Winchester) Wants in on the Fun!

Even Papa Winchester himself, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is rooting for a reunion.

“I think they’re talking about it,” Morgan shared. “Kripke, he’ll bring him on.”

And then, because he clearly knows what the fans want, he added, “Jared’s so f—ing big. He could just be a monster. He’s Bigfoot, dude.”

Bigfoot? A supe? Honestly, we’ll take Padalecki in any form as long as he gets to share the screen with Ackles and Morgan again.

So Many Possibilities, So Little Time!

The potential for a “Supernatural” reunion on “The Boys” is almost too much to handle. Just imagine the possibilities! Would Sam and Dean team up with Butcher and the gang to take down a particularly nasty supe? Or maybe they’ll find themselves on opposing sides, leading to an epic Winchester vs. Winchester showdown?

Okay, we need a minute to recover from that last thought.

While we wait with bated breath for more news (and maybe refresh Eric Kripke’s Twitter feed a few hundred times), we can’t help but wonder: What kind of chaos would a Winchester brother reunion unleash on the already bonkers world of “The Boys”? Let us know your wildest theories in the comments!
